Contex App able to show document from another System

Hello Everyone,

I want to create a widget using an SDK or app design to deploy in a context application. The purpose is to show documents from an external document management system.

My idea is to create something similar to the Infor IDM widget. I want to connect the widget with the JSON information received from the ERP and perform a REST call to the external document management system to get the images to display.

I know how to implement the REST service with ION API and connect a JSON message to a widget. My problem is that I don't know if there is any user interface widget that can help me with this.

Does anyone have any ideas or previous experience with this?

Hey there - do you know what format the image comes in as, is it base 64? OAD has a list widget that would allow you to set a small image with a label or two. OAD does not have an image only template yet, however it is on the roadmap for 2025.

Another question, is this API located within the gateway?

Thank you for replying me. I was meeting to have a OAD template only for images. If it's on the 2025 road map it's perfect.
