Currently we create in M3 distribution orders based on containers the user in the warehouse has scanned. When finished scanning the distribution order will be created. Is this functionality also available for creating Customer Orders? How would that work?
We instruct our OT system (cranes) to pick X pallets of an item. The Cranes sends the containers in random order to the unloading point. The user scans the processed containers until he has a full truckload. M3 should create the customer order. All deliveries are always to the same customer who need to invoiced.
We are now thinking to create the DO first, scan to the DO and tricker an ORDERS message, load the order in M3 again and process the order automatically. It would be much better if we could create the ORDER immediately based on scanning of the warehouse. Anybody using this functionality or has a better idea?
