We just closed P6 and noticed that all negative assets are showing as fully depreciated in AM, GL looks correct.
Has any one else experienced this issue?
The problem may have been introduced in June CU.
Thanks,
Srividya
Could it be related to this?

We also had the issue with Asset period close and Infor's work around got us past it.
After closing, we noticed the variance between GL and AM.
We just discovered this issue also. JR6987713 doesn't seem to be related to this as we didn't have an async issue when closing our June period. Has any opened a ticket on this yet?
Yes, Had a call with support and dev teams, they are investigating.
In the meantime, we plan to make a copy of prod data to another environment, test depreciation recalculation before doing it in prod. Running depreciation recalc in non update mode does seem to be giving reasonably accurate results.
We don't have very many but we did a compute in the asset itself and it recalculated correctly for each one. For us the negative assets aren't in a posting book so we didn't have any GL concerns. Just sharing our efforts.
To avoid the issue being discussed in this thread, please review and take action on the steps documented here - Infor Support Announcement_ Infor Financials and Supply Management_ Critical Fix Notification for Asset Period Close (JR-6987713).msg. If you have already experienced the issue, please contact our Support team and we will work with you to resolve any issues.
I can download the .msg file, but when I try to get to this link inside it: 3525320 I get: "You do not have sufficient privileges to access this knowledge item"
Larry: I had this same issue - you need your IT tech to assign you the "Contact Admin" role for the Customer Portal. I had to get our Principal Client Experience Manager to send me the documents so we can make the assessment. I'd attach them here, but don't see how I can do that.
Once you get them, the JR-6987713 document notes to go to the Asset Book list - which I was unable to find on my own. You have to enter "AssetBook" in the search box and that brings you to the Asset Book List.
Good Luck to you!
That is a Knowledge Base article, so I believe you would need to be a defined user within the Infor Concierge site to have access to it.
The two issues are different.
AM close async job failing with the unit amount error is different from the issue being discussed on this thread.
This is regarding all negative/credit assets getting completely depreciated after closing.
