Our budget team cannot approve a request for temporary replacement until the employee is on leave of absence (LOA). Additionally, benefits cannot update the employee’s status until the leave actually begins. Is this the normal process.

We are also interested in this. We currently have just gone live with TAMS and wonder how this will work when there is no variance available on position budgeting, but the position needs to be posted for upcoming transfer/term/LOA.
