We use UPS World Ship to ship our orders. Right now this is a very manual process. Has any other customers integrate Syteline with World Ship? Is there a document or instructions for this?
We actually have an integration partner who provides us this exact service. It's simple we scan in the order number, and it pulls the data from Syteline, and imports it into UPS or FedEx. Then once the shipping process is complete it populates the BOL table with all info. we even get the EDI BOL tables populated, to pass on ASN's via EDI.
We actually created an Excel spreadsheet that utilizes macros and Micrsoft Queries to pull in shipment data (customer, ship to address, etc.). This macro then creates a .csv file. Using World Ship, we created an import map that pulls the csv file when ran to get the shipment data. This helped improve our shipment process significantly and eliminated any UPS data entry. The user only has to put in the box size and box weight and after a few clicks it spits out the UPS label.
