Displaying jpg attachments on a report

We attach photos to service orders. I need to create a report that shows these. I can create a report that will show any image uploaded as a png, but it will not show JPG images. I have the Underlying Type as BINARY and the Binary Data as JPEG, but it still will not display them. I can display them on a form. Any ideas?

I have a possible solution but you 'd need to try it. If the images are part of the Images/icon cache then you should just be able to add them to a Static component on the report and have them displayed.

If they are in, say, a Document Object then it might take more work. The thought would be as part of your reports CLM or "OnInitLoad" event you look up the Document object in the system and then using code bind the image data to the Static component on your report. Does that make sense?

What you described is exactly what I have done, and it works great for any document object that is a PNG. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for JPG files. This is where I am encountering difficulties.

If I knew how to reference the repository where these objects are kept (Cloud Customer), I might be able to include it as an image. However, there seems to be an issue with the BLOB object that prevents a JPG from being interpreted correctly in a report (although it displays fine on a form).

Any insights or suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
