Hi Jason, have you gone through and ensure all the pre-requisites are in place... specifically the VSTO? something in my memory telling me I've seen that issue before but that's going back a long time ago.....
Hi Jason
Not sure if this will help but the only note I have of this is we were getting Object Required when trying to create a report and it was 'Initialising Opera'. Going back a while as this was an Opera II site and we had the same issue on 2 different versions we tried. As this is a new pc it may not be relevant
Pegasus advised the following:
Ensure Opera working fine and the paths, goapp.ini etc. were fine. If no issue here then Logon the domain as Administrator, completely uninstall XRL, Completely remove Opera II, Run a Registry Cleaner, Install Opera II and Install XRL
My 'fix' notes were that their IT company had run a registry clean and reinstalled Opera client as Admin user. We then logged on as Admin user for XRL Install and didn't get the error when creating a report logged in as this user. Logged back on as user, removed the Add-in, re-applied the Add-in but used 'Run As Administrator' and then it all worked

I've had the same & the simple fix is to turn off the Start screen in the Excel General settings so it goes directly to the worksheet rather than listing previous files
