The behavioral fit score is MORE THAN JUST A SCORE! Take the time to review the reports to better understand what the score means and to dig into information about the candidate’s behavioral preferences that you can use during the interview.
As you prep for the interview by reviewing the candidates application and resume, review the Talent Science interview questions that will help to dig deeper and have a more meaningful discussion with the candidate.
Important Issue: This statement describes how the candidate is disconnected from the characteristic/behavior by comparing the candidate behavioral preference to the ideal behavior for the position.
Question to Ask: Pick 1-2 characteristics from the Must Ask and then 1-2 questions within the characteristic to focus your interview. Based on their prior work history, update the question you choose to align with their past experiences.
During the Interview: Once you have identified the questions, review the “During the Interview” section to learn more about what to focus on during the candidate’s response. The candidate’s answers to these questions provide insight to the extend of the candidates disconnect and whether or not they can adapt to bridge the gap, getting closer to the ideal behavior.
Always consider the unique elements of the position when listening to the candidate response.
