Multiple job employees in Lawson and Kronos Advanced Scheduling

Currently employees who have multiple positions, the number 1 position is based on the largest FTE and the number 2 position has the smallest FTE. The number 2 supervisor can’t view their employee in MSS Lawson. If someone has found the ability to correct this Lawson problem, I would like to hear from you. We are moving to Kronos Advanced Scheduling on some nursing units and have an issue with multiple job employees. If the number 2 position is on an Advanced Scheduling unit that supervisor can’t do any scheduling since the employee isn’t available to them. One solution is to switch the positions and make the Advanced Scheduling position the number 1 job ignoring its FTE amount. Is anyone else using Kronos Advanced Scheduling and are having the same issue with multiple job employees. Have you found a solution and how do you determine which position is number 1.

I don't have an answer to your MSS issue and 2 supervisor, but I do have thoughts on the Kronos advanced Scheduling issue.

We created a general Location and job and with the interface map the employee with 2nd positions within the advanced scheduling group are mapped to this location. We have found a number of prolbems with this and contiune to work with our choice. I would be happy to give you more detail if you would like to call me 262 696-0356
