Hi All,

Can you please advise how to resolve the below issue? Error is from the ION API 5 in the screenshot.

I am getting this while testing FieldUpdate API, to update ORDHDR.custom_data[1], in the workflow. Request Body takes three string inputs and the data type is defined correctly.

Strange thing is when I test the same order-suffix within quotes, like below, it works fine.

This is how I have given the request body. Request body works fine when tried through API gateway (SX/rest/serviceinterface/proxy/FieldUpdate) for a specific example, problem occurs in the workflow.

Technically those are all string field types, including co_num. I have cono, orderno and ordersuf all string type in the workflow parameters and was able to get it work with no issues. I encased those 3 fields with quotes, as you can see.

"custom_data[1]": "$value(custom_data),Test" would work, but custom_data would have to be an existing WF parameter with the value you want.

Does the Request Body standard support concatenation?

How to achieve this operation - custom_data[1] = custom_data[1] + "," + "Test"

Tried below but getting the same 400 error.

"update": {
"custom_data[1]": "$concat($value(custom_data[1]), ',Test')"
}

"update": {
"custom_data[1]": "{{custom_data[1]}},Test"
}
