Equivalent Transpose/Normalization Import Master task in new EPM Cloud?

Hi,

do you know if there is a way with a Cloud EPM application to use something like the transpose/normalization task available in Import Master?

We are implementing a budget and forecast application getting data from the LN Project module (via DataLake). Due to the nature of the Measures  we import (actually columns in Datalake) they need to be unpivot before we can use it in EPM. There is a built it function to do it?

We try to understand if Compass has got functions like CROSS APPLY or UNPIVOT but it seems they are not implemented.

We'd avoid to use multiple UNION to create the Measure dimension because considering all the fact tables and the measures necessary we'll have to implement 100+ union with a huge manual maintenance effort.

Please let me now your suggestions.

If youre already in Data Lake you could just import into EPM Staging table and presumably use UNPIVOT. Ive not done this before but once your data is in the staging table you have access to all your regular SQL expressions.
