I thought I heard in the October release webinar that RSS on Landmark was GA in October. We have a pre-production environment with the October CU there and I don't see that it really looks any different. Does anyone have any insight on this?
Yes, that is correct, RSS is moving into the Landmark Technology platform so that you have more configurability and personalization options, as well as better integration with FSM. This is becoming available in October to all customers. This was highlighted on slide 34 of the Release Highlights presented on September 5 (and that deck is posted in the Release Center on Concierge).
But its not the default experience. The existing RSS is the default experience so as to have no immediate impact on customers at this time, and you can opt to enable the new RSS at your leisure (maybe in a test tenant and then later in a prod tenant).
There is Release Training available in Infor U, if you select Release Training by Product, Financials & Supply Management, and then filter by 2024.10. The name of the course is:
FSM: v2024.10 RT Introducing, Using and Selling RSS in Landmark - Requisition Self Service (RSS)
