H5 Script - run M3 API with a specific user instead of logged on user?

Hi,

Is there a possibility in H5 script to setup an M3 API call to run with a specific user? The standard is that the API call is running with the user that are logged on in M3 for the program where the script is added. 

Or is there another possibility to go around the authority problem that MDBREADMI, CMS100MI and EXPORTMI is causing when the user don´t have access to the master table/program themselves but we want the API to be OK in the script?

Hi Emma,
I would suggest looking into SES405 API Transaction security where you can set API security. Here you can add users to be able to use specific API's needed in the script. 

I have not worked with it yet hence not being able to offer much more help than pointing you in that direction.
