MDAC in OLAP modeling - no user interface

Hello, there is no user interface to set up the MDAC rights in OLAP modelling.

Olap modelling just creates a relational table, but there is no way to fill it in olap modelling via user selections. I had to create an AE process which takes a csv file with defined rights for roles (also with inheritance, which is not even available in the Manage Permissions administration dashboard for MDACs) and use it to fill the MDAC relational table accordingly.

Is there a better, more user friendly way?

No, that one sets the rights in the OLAP database directly, but does not consider Modeling at all - so if you set your rights there, they will be overwritten again the next time you publish your OLAP Model.

could you not add an AE routine to copy all your permissions and redeploy after you load the model?

Alternatively, export the MDAC cube to the Staging table _before_ you publish. That will be one line of code per cube if you use the routines at https://community.infor.com/infor-epm-user-group/m/infor-epm---samples-and-demo-data/2528
