Have the release notes for Mongoose version 2024.09.06 been published yet? If so, would anyone be willing to share a link? I can't find them in concierge.

You can find the Release Report in KB2041109 (Technology Platform - Infor Mongoose Cloud Updates). The spreadsheet report is an attachment in that KB. I found this by going to Release Center > My Release Information and clicking on the KB Release Report link for Mongoose.

User cannot see generated reports - Not Authorized

Password expiration warning prevents viewing of reports with FarmEnableReportAuthentication

Viewing of reports with FarmEnableReportAuthentication on is not affected by the password expiration warning

1. In Configuration Manager->More Settings, set FarmEnableReportAuthentication to 1 2. On Password Parameters form, set Password Expiration Days and Password Warning Days to low values to trigger password expiration warning. 3. On Users form, change a users password and observe the Password Expiration Date. 4. Login as the user and observe the password expiration warning during login. 5. On Report Output Files, open a report.  The report should open in the browser or download depending on the file type.  The failure case is a "not authorized" message.

Non-destructive selective regeneration of dynamic triggers and views

Error handling is added when a table encounters an issue during its regeneration of dynamic triggers and views. Tables with issues are skipped during the regeneration process and it moves to the next with a corresponding log of the error.

This enhancement is to regenerate views without dropping the existing ones for the table when the view script is invalid. This will prevent the view generation from stopping and will keep the existing view of the table intact

Open the DataViews Setup form and run the ProjectedInventoryReport. Verify that the year column shows the date with no commas.

Performance issues with IDO responses when there is a bad configuration in config Manager

In multi-server environments where a site-coordinator is not used, bad Configs with a missing DB may severely impact the performance for good Configs. This change protects the performance of good Configs by using asynchronous calls to quickly seek out the best (good) Config during session rehydration.

Asynchronous calls have been incorporated into session rehydration in none-site-coordinator environments. These asynchronous calls are used for searching through both good and bad Configs simultaneously while looking for the Config that owns the session that is being rehydrated. When a bad Config (without a working DB) exists the asynchronous call to that DB will hang and then eventually get cancelled after the session is asynchronously discovered in a good Config.

Test Environment Setup: Must have more than one IDO Runtime, Must have more than one Config defined and those Configs must be associated with more than one tenant DB. Must NOT have a site-coordinator selected in the Configuration Manager. * Take one of the tenants DBs in the environment down. Either take the DB offline or delete the DB. Do NOT delete the corresponding Config from the Configuration Manager. This creates the "bad Config" situation * Start the environment fresh or restart all IDO Runtime services to clear all sessions. * Log into Mongoose using one of the Configs which has a good working DB (ie not the DB that was taken offline). Take note of the performance when logging in and after logging in. After this issue change the performance of logging into a good Config should not be negatively affected by the existence of the "bad Config".

Made the current form list pruning be case insensitive to display authorized forms despite having case mismatch with the original form name

The issue is happening because the logic that prunes the forms list with the user's authorized forms is not case insensitive, which causes the case mismatched authorized forms to be detected as unauthorized when retrieving the user's forms list, making it hidden.

1. Create a script that inserts into the Account Authorizations table a form authorization that indicates that it is executable by your current user for testing. 2. Make sure that the case of the form name in the new form authorization has a case mismatch with it's actual form name. 3. Execute the script 4. Login with the respective user and open the forms list 5. User should be able to see the form.

Disabled database connection monitoring feature.  Sent recommendations to customer to dispose of connections made from custom extension class code.

Create an extension class method that creates but doesn't dispose of ApplicationDB instance. Create a non-transactional IDO Method that calls the extension class method. Call the method repeatedly.  Monitor connection counts in SQL. With the monitoring feature enabled, connection counts will rise in this situation until the connection pool is full (and the error occurs) or the appDomain is unloaded (clearing the connection pool). With the monitoring feature disabled, connections will be garbage collected and reused.
