Many recalls require sending vendor letters confirming that the status of the recall (N/A, items pulled, Items returned, etc.). Currently ILM has no mechanism of sending vendor letters. Such letters must be sent outside of ILM, and the only way to track this activity is by adding comments to the recall notices.
We suggest adding a feature to allow sending vendor letters via ILM. This will allow better tracking of this important recall task. Additionally, sending vendor letters could be added as requirements for completing a task, and ILM would not allow completing a notice until the letters have been sent through ILM.
