BN 27.2 Overides not showing up on BN 99.1
unknown
I added employee overrides in BN 27.2 for topics E2 and E4 (offer code/safe harbor.) I ran BN 227 with the employee option, and the overrides are present. I re-ran BN 990 for those employees that I placed overrides in BN 27.2. I went back to BN 99.1 to see if the overrides were present. I did not see the changes in BN 99.1. I could not find any documentation stating you should be able to see those overrides from BN 27.2 in BN99.1 after BN 990 was re-run.
Has anyone encountered this? Does this mean that the overrides will only show up in the CSV output file of BN 297, after it is run?

Taylor,
I ran through this process a month ago, things may've changed, but...
BN99 and BN27.2 use two different tables. So, updating BN27.2 has no effect on BN99. It's similar to the Lawson W2 process, where certain override screens do not change any data, but just override the data on the PR297. In the case of benefits, its BN99 data and overrides on BN27.2, are pulled by BN297. There are other pieces for Cobra, etc. but I think that his the basic picture. A few have actually done 1095's in prod, they may have more info.

Pete

A view of the data generate by BN990 and the Overrides entered using BN27.2 can all be seen in ACA IRS Codes Overrides (BN99.6). Fields that have overrides have "*" (asterisk).

Amy, Thank you so much! The overrides are all there in BN 99.6. It is strange that I did not see BN 99.6 listed in the Diagram for the KBs that talk about the BN990. I should be ready for the BN297.

You're welcome. BN99.6 was a "later" development effort, so I will check the KBs to ensure that BN99.6 is referenced.

Amy,
Thanks for the clarification and all your work on this. I ran the BN990 in January (we are running enroll only), have applied new patches and run again. I notice that before waive employees who were termed were 1E and 2F for the partial month, but now are 1H and 2B; this looks like the plan all along, confirmed on Infor and our Benefits vendor's documents. However, actual enrolled employees have not changed; when terminated, the partial month is still 1E and 2C. Can you explain this?
If you want me to open an incident I can do that.
thanks.

1H with 2B, indicates that there was not a full month offer (1H) and coverage (benefit coverage or waive) ended before the last day of the month (2B). In the case of 1E and 2C, I assume that the terminated employee has enrolled in COBRA coverage with no break in benefit coverage (Example: HL Benefit ends 1/5 and COBRA start 1/6). Since the termed employee has the entire month with benefit coverage, it would be indicated as 2C with the associated Offer Code of 1E. February will be shown as 1H and 2A and if COBRA coverage is in place the covered individual section with be marked with an X, since the full month the employee is terminated.

Thanks Amy. One more quick question; is there any plan to put out any cumulative patches before 3/31?
unknown
Not that I am aware of at this point.

Bernie - it was delivered with the 1/24/2016 CTP:
9.0.0 – KB 1687190
CTP 109071
9.0.1 – KB 1687626
CTP 109062
10.0.0 – KB 1687624 CTP 109063

Amy,
Which CTP delivered the change to PR197 to load ACA hours each payroll close?
Trying to get my ducks in a row for 2016.
Thanks,
unknown
The PR197 change was in GA back in September (September 11th) - Primary JT-780276: Affordable Care Act Benefits enhancement – Phase 1 GA
unknown
Amy,
Is there a new field on PR197 after loading JT-780276?
unknown
No, the change was behind the scenes. In order for hours to be automatically pickup, there needs to be a ACA Parameter (BN00.5) > ACA Pay Class defined.

Has anyone been able to use an add-in as opposed to the conversion tool for bn27.2?
megan-dwyer
I am unable to run the BN227 report as dictionary to get the fields needed for conversion. Does anyone have that file?
