Summary: With 2024.10 we have found "Take Notes" in many places: Compensation, Performance, Employee Relations, Employee space, Manager space, HR Administration. This is very important because our organization does not allow Notes of any kind to be entered in Infor. This is to help protect the organization from legal issues, since Notes are 'discoverable'. There are over 90 places where "Take Notes" lives in the system as of the 2024.10 CU. We would like Infor to create a Feature Toggle where organizations can choose to turn this on or off depending on their risk tolerance.
Business Impact: Having "Take Notes" opens up an organizations' exposure to risk in the event they're sued by a staff member. Remove the risk by removing Take Notes from everywhere.
Workaround: Configure each of the 90 locations where "Take Notes" lives and hope that a future release doesn't add more areas where Take Notes appears. Another option is Security related, but we're trying to stay 'delivered' as much as possible with Security, so for us, configuration is our path.
