Date Format in Experience Designer

Has the date format in Experience Designer changed for anyone following the recent Infor update? Our date fields were previously formatted as Month, Date, Year, but now they all appear in Year, Month, Date format. This change affects both the custom APIs and the standard M3 APIs being used in the EDA. I checked the APIs I built, and they are still formatted as Month, Date, Year.

Do you have any guidance on how to revert the formatting back to Month/Date/Year? The only option I see in the EDA field configurations is a date dropdown, but it doesn’t provide any details on how the date field is formatted.

Hi ,

Yes... I have reported this to Infor and they have acknowledged it as a bug. They have done something in the last update that broke all date formats in the apps. Before the upgrade the date format followed the users setup in M3 , which is how it should work.

Please report it to Infor so we can get some faster action on it...

Once the bug is fixed, how would I format my dates as Month, Date, Year in experience designer? Do I need to make an extension for the standard MI APIs?

No, just change the user settings in MNS150 to display the date format as Mont, date, year then it should work.

Hi Marcus, are you referring to Tools > User settings? I do not see an option for that under the: General, Options, or Appearance tab.

Hi Justin,
I mean this field in MNS150/E when you open a user with "change".

FYI - Got information from Infor that the date format bug will be resolved in the November update of M3.
"Fixed by MUA-15325 to be included in the November release 2024.11"
