BN29 - Incorrect Plans Offered
rhansalia
MY BN29 ACA offers are not creating correctly based on BN31/BN32 enrollments. We have 2 health plans that are mutually exclusive; if you are eligible for one you are not eligible for the other (based on employee status). We also have corresponding waive plans for each. The correct waive plan is showing up on BN29 as an offer, but both health plans are also showing, which is incorrect. So, when I enroll an employee in either health plan or either waive plan, both health plans show up in BN29 along with the correct waive plan. The interesting part about this issue is eligibility for health and waive match for each plan set, so why is the waive plan offer showing up correctly but the health plan offers are not? As a side note, BN31.2 eligibility is showing up correctly. I was expecting bn29 offers to reflect BN31.2 eligibility after an offer is made, but it is not. Has anyone else run into this in their ACA offers testing?

Tammy,
did you get this issue resolved? We have new employees have their benefits effective on bn31.2/32.1, but the offer is not showing up on bn29. I'm curious how you addressed this issue.

Hi Natasha. We have not received a solution from Lawson. For 2015, we deleted all system-created offers using BN79 and created and loaded all of the correct offers using BN529. This was our way to get around the issue so we could move forward work on 2015 1095c forms. In your scenario I would pull a list all enrollments and create a BN529 load off of it. I am still pursuing a solution for the automation to work correctly, which will hopefully be smoothed out for 2016.
