Measurement Setup Questions ~ BN149

I have a few questions on the measurement period setup. I was planning on using the monthly measurement method but since that is not available just yet, I am trying to see how close I can get to it with using the lookback method that is in the place. That said, here is what I am trying to do:
- Initial Setup is:3 month measurement, 1 month admin, and a 6 month stability for new hires/rehires. Does the Initial Measurement have to match the Standard as far as the period setup? I am guessing not, but curious if I have overlooked this somewhere? I plan on running the Initial BN149 report monthly.
-I was hoping that I could use the same setup as I am for the initial measurement when running the standard measurement for my ongoing population. This presents a problem though as to how often I would need to run the Standard Measurement report that the standard 12-1-12 option seems to cover.
For example if I setup for 3 month measurement, 1 month admin, and 6 month stability in the ongoing standard setup this would look like this as far as the dates go:
-3.1.14 - 5.31 Measurement
-6.1.14 - 6.30.14 Admin
-7.1.14 - 12.31.14 Stability
How often would I need to run the Standard Measurement report - BN149 - Monthly- Quarterly? What are others plans for frequency of running the standard report BN149, regardless of the time parameters you are using?
