V10 On Premise
a couple weeks ago - we upgraded our LSF environment 10.0.11.15.2796 and upgraded Portal to version 10.1.0.36.2255. Since then we are seeing strange security issues users have access to update data in forms that they never could prior to this - but only in LISTVIEW - if they go directly into the form (such as PO20/AP10 - they get a Security Violation if they try to update).
We have another issue now as well where we have at least one custom batch program that won't load. It just creates a report - it's widely used by multiple users. The job parameter form will no longer load. Portal looks like it is bringing up the form but they end up with just the tab that says the program name - but no job parameters. If they leave the form up (that hasn't completely loaded) and put another batch program name in the search bar and click "GO" - that form comes up fine - if they then enter the original non-loading program - it now comes up completely (with the parameters) but the tab still has the previous program name. The real kicker is - it works FINE in Smart Office. The problem is ONLY with Portal which is why we think it has something to do with this upgrade. As a workaround, users are using Smart Office - but many of them have never used it and it's not a precedent we want to set now because Smart Office will be going away at some point. Plus doing that really isn't an acceptable option.
We have tried clearing the users cache in both Chrome and Edge, clearing temporary internet files in both and none of those have worked. We tried clearing the IOS Cache and that didn't help. The form wasn't created in Design Studio - but we even tried Rebuild Form Index and Clear IOS Cache and it's still happening. We are concerned that this is the tip of the iceberg and that other forms are going to start being reported as not working as well.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? So far, Infor hasn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance, Laura
