Add Ins template - salary upload

Does anyone have an Add In template they would be willing to share for Lawson that would upload a new salary with an effective date, but not override the history?
We are looking for a way to upload the annual merit increases into the system with a 12/22/2013 effective date and still maintain the employees salary history.

We use a template to upload into the PA52 Personnel Action and then update it with the PA100. Is that what you use or are you looking at loading directly into the HR11?

I use the HR511 every year to upload salaries with a new effective date. By using the C F/C you can add a new pay rate record while leaving your pay rate history intact. Flag the HR511 to log to History!

We process an increase every year in January and I use the Mass Pay Action It doesn't override the history.

Hi all,

The PA52 template you need is going to vary depending on how your action (PA50) is set up. You're better off following the steps in the KBs below to build one that works for your particular organization. It can be tricky, but it's worth it.

From the InforXtreme Support site select Downloads > Products > Technology > Technology Sample Content > MS Add-ins Spreadsheet

Keep in mind that Infor Support does not support these templates.

Thanks for the information regarding the templates. It seems these are the templates that were previously on Lawson Marketplace and I was seraching for them.

I think it would be difficult to post our template for all to use without the explanation of how we define ours specifically. As Alejandro stated, you have to define the template as you have your PA50 defined. I will look at how I can place the explanation within the template that may allow others to customize it to their needs.

We use a standard template for all our PA52 uploads. I will attempt to upload the 2 wizards (one to query PA50, the other to upload to PA52) and the spreadsheet. Good luck.
