Description:
In the Nomination process, you can notify awardees that they have been awarded. Prior to notifying awardees, you can create an award certificate. There is no attachment of this certificate to the email template and unless you notify the employee to look in their documents there is no notification of this certificate. A support ticket was placed and development asked for an enhancement request to be entered.
Business Impact:
This is not a pleasant user experience. The employee does not know there is a certificate created and unless you tell them how to navigate to find it, the employee would not be aware of this. Poor employee user experience.
Work Around:
The only workaround as we looked to add the attachment in the email(can not be done since the attachment can be either a PDF or an RTF and it is named the same in the code-support and development could not give a work around) is to give in the email template directions on where to find the document in their documents tab which is not a good user experience.
