In this video with one of Infor's partners they use UserTemplates + LPL to create a CSV extract file and place the file on PFI file storage. The presenter mentions in the very beginning of the presentation that this is possible with pdf and rtf file type templates, but they didn't know how to do it.
We were able to follow along and create extracts using CSV & JSON templates via LPL actions but have been unsuccessful with PDF/.rtf
