ER115611 - EPM - capability to hide Inactive Hierarchies in Financial Reporting
Our organization has created alternate hierarchies in FSM, some of which are now inactive. These inactive hierarchies still appear in Financial Reporting, posing a risk of users selecting them by mistake. This can lead to inaccurate financial information due to missing cost centers or projects.
Business Impact: Users may select inactive hierarchies, leading to inaccurate data in internal, external, or legislative reports. The only indication of inactivity is in the description, causing frustration among users.
Workaround: Remind users that inactive data will display and update descriptions to highlight active hierarchies. However, this does not fully address the frustration.
