In working with Absence Management, I don't think we are the only clients that have came across this.... The resource did qualify. Any ideas? Please endorsement this enhancement request as it would help everyone that is getting this error message.
Summary: We are getting error messages each week when we recalculate our absences plans. The error states "Plan not updated; resource never qualified for eligibility group". We get this error when we change the eligibility group on an absence plan causing resources that used to qualify for the plan to drop out of the eligibility group. Even though the error states that the resource never qualified for the eligibility group, the resource really did qualify for the eligibility group prior to the effective date of change to the eligibility group. Because we are getting this error when recalculating even though the resource no longer qualifies for the plan based on the eligibility group, the system will not put an accrual end date or plan end date on the resource record for the resource that no longer qualifies for that plan. We have manually been putting accrual end dates and plan end dates on each resource record. We entered a ticket with Infor and after several months they have came back to us and said the system is working as designed and this is not a bug. We would like the system to be enhanced so that when we change an eligibility group, which causes resources to drop out of the eligibility group, that the system recognizes this through the recalculate action rather than erroring it should put an accrual end date on that resource record for that plan.
Business Impact: Weekly research of 5000+ errors during the recalculate function. Many hours manually adding accrual end dates and plan end dates to individual resource records.
