We are not live yet on GHR but are looking at tracking non-employees. In S3 we have some loaded in a separate company to help with some education tracking, but it is not ideal since no one is really maintaining the records.
I have read all the posts on some that have them set up in a different company vs in the same company under a different process level. And the pros and cons to both ways. Question for those that have a separate company set up. How do you transfer information (ex. training records) for those in the non-employee company if they get hired as an employee?
Also, if you have an employee who is also a non-employee (ex Student) how do you send their training record to both resource records so one does not show as not completed?
Also Talent would like them to apply to create the resource record. Are there any issues with having multiple companies. Is this separate setup on the Talent side?
Any other information to help us make our decision is appreciated.
