HCR Reinsurance Fee
We will be accessing the HCR reinsurance fee based on the employee's health plan election starting on 1/1/2014. It will be a separate line item on the paycheck and will depend on how many dependents the employee as on the health plan.
My initial thought is to set-up a BN15 HL plan category for HCR reinsurance and then set-up a separate plan and deduction just for this fee. We would enroll the employee in the plan based on the HL health plan election and maintain that separately.
How are other organizations planning to handle the HCR reinsurance fee?
