Has anyone been successful in getting ESS to display to the employee all the Ethnicity codes and allow them to select as many as they want?
We are trying to follow the OMB's Statistical Policy Directive No. 15 revisions. We've taken care of the first 2 items.
Has anyone figured out how to allow the employee to select all codes that apply to them? We've entered a ticket with Infor and the developers are looking in to it, but the support people keep pushing me back to the setup for the 2 part question for Hispanic/Latino which we aren't supposed to do any more.
My thought was to develop a design studio form but we're holding off in hopes that Infor will be able to deliver an EMSS enhancement.
A summary of the changes in SPD 15 includes the following:
- Federal agencies will be required to add a race category for persons with heritage from the Middle East or North Africa (MENA).
- There will no longer be a separate question about Hispanic ethnicity. Instead, Hispanic will be included in the list of race and ethnicity categories that are part of demographic surveys.
- Survey respondents must be allowed to select more than one race or ethnic designation.
