How to limit access to the CMP command

Hi, for purchasing we have a lot of users that have the blank division added to their profile. We do not want them to actually change to that division though. I tried to set the CMP001 (cono=001 being our standard company) in MNS110 and SES400 but somehow that does not work the way it does on normal functions

Does anyone have a working solution to get this working?.

OK, we have a company (001) with a larger number of divisions. Apart from finance people most work in their own division and not on blank division. Changing between divisions can be done easily using the CMP command (two examples: CMP001036 or CMP001).

These CMP commands can be created in MNS110 (and attached to the Menu structure in there), the problem is that I cannot (seem to) restrict access to the CMP command via SES400.

I didn't know that you could go so far as to create the various uses of the CMP command as functions in MNS110. For our part, we've been using the command up to now as a kind of shortcut (without a menu) and educating users to then enter the CONO + DIVI combinatorics according to their needs.

But to get back to your problem, isn't it better to secure access to accounting entities in INFOR OS and not secure access to the CMP command in MNS110? Unless I've misunderstood your intention?

Our setup may be a bit out of the ordinary since we have limited facility access using "Access groups". Some M3 programs, when checking for this access, are seeking that on the blank division rather than on the actual division the user is working in. That unfortunately requires us to connect users to blank division.

Hi,

CMP ou (LNG) are commands in H5.

You can't add rightsd on them to restrict acces.

Company/Division rights are managed in MNS151.
