We currently use FSM (Cloud version) billing to initiate invoice creation, which is then pushed through to FSM AR for collection and management. However, the PDF version of the invoice can only be viewed from a link against the invoice in FSM Billing. Additionally, there is no way to filter on the due date in FSM Billing, nor see if the invoice still has an outstanding amount. This requires us to use both screens when managing debt to determine when to resend a copy of the invoice.
Proposed Enhancements: To address these issues, we have logged the following product enhancements with the IT product team:
116756 - Ability to add a View Invoice link to the Invoices grid in FSM AR
- Add a link to the PDF invoice in FSM AR.
- Include the open invoice amount and due date in the grid in FSM Billing, with the ability to filter on the due date.
Benefits: If these enhancements are endorsed and implemented, they will significantly improve our efficiency by:
- Reducing the time spent looking up outstanding invoices in AR and then navigating to the billing screen to send a copy of the invoice to the customer.
- Streamlining the process of managing debt by providing all necessary information in one place.
Business Impact: Currently, we spend a considerable amount of time looking up outstanding invoices in AR and then going to the billing screen to find and send a copy of the invoice to the customer. This process is inefficient and time-consuming.
Workaround: As a temporary solution, we are using multiple screens to check for outstanding amounts in AR and then navigating to billing to send a copy of the invoice.
We believe that these enhancements will benefit all users of FSM Billing and AR. We kindly request your endorsement to help prioritise these enhancements with the vendor.
