AEP error occurred when trying to login

Hi,

We have encountered an error when logging into AEP.

" Communication with the remote farm failed.

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

Unable to load one or more of the requested types.

Retrieve the LoaderExpections properly for more information. "

This issue doesn't appear anywhere else, no issue when login to AppStudio and EPM administration.

We have tried the usual steps, such as restarting the service farm and importing a new application profile, but still have had no luck. Has anyone experienced this error before and managed to resolve it?

Hi Eithan

I've not seen that one before... Are you sure the AS/AE Clients are the correct version for your Farm? Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling or repairing the Client?

Either way, this question is probably best addressed to Infor Support.

Hi Nathan,

This is on-prem v12; the installed version aligns with the farm. We are contemplating a reinstall, and INFOR is currently investigating the matter. I was hoping someone here has resolved this issue without the need to reinstall.
