Restricting the amount of characters that can be entered for the Postal Address field

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to restrict the number of characters that can be entered in address line 1 and 2? I know that these are delivered fields within the Employee address business class with a field size of 40, but is there a way to limit it to 30 characters?

Essentially, the system that this information is supposed to interface to only allows 30 characters for the Employee addresses, which is why I'm asking this question.

If you want to restrict the user to enter only 30 characters, you can use constraints on the action.

LocalStringLength = FieldName size
constraint (LocalStringLength <= 30)

"TotalNumberOfCharactersShouldBe30Characters"
