Placing a date needed when ordering in RCQ V10
unknown
When our departments places an order through RQC and place a date in field: Requested Delivery Date. This is overriding the standard date. When they do this and place a date needed. The system will not release the req prior to the date provided. These order just get hung up in the system until they are released with the date provided.... Is there a way to block out this field so end users don't use this field? Thanks, Damian

You can hide or display only fields from within the rqc config file. After making the changes, make sure to use the Utilities bookmark to reload the config and refresh the cache.

Would this be something our Lawson administrator would complete? Thanks

One more question.. Do you know if this would create an issue with future updates regarding this screen view? Thanks again, Damian

Whomever has access to the RQC config file and the RQC Utilities bookmark. There are different sections that can be adjusted to cause RQC fields to be hidden or display only. There are KB articles on how to adjust. Basically, you enter the name of the fields in either section, save it, reload config and refresh cache for RQC.

This is what the hidden fields setting looks like in our RQC config file. We had the subaccount hidden at one time but soon after discovered that marketing uses subaccounts so our programmer commented that out.

That is it.
