MN SUI and special assessment taxes
unknown
Our company has severl tax categories for MN
10 Unemployment
11Debt Repayment
15 Job Development
36 Dislocated Worker Assessment
89 UI INterest Assessment
I would think somehow we could turn off 11 Debt Repay and 89 UI Interest Assessment as it's no longer valid, however it's still reporting wages on our report. Can I safely remove the x's in PR05 to stop all gross and taxable wage reporting I'm worried about adverse effects.
Also and more importantly i have been posed with the question of turning off 15 Job Devel
36 Disl worker
in Lawson and zeroing out the optional rates in BSI. As I have a combined SUI rate that encompasses all the special assessments that can be assigned simply to the category 10 SUI tax.
Does anyone currently do this or have any suggestions?

I set up these deduction codes with no cycles to make the BSI errors clear up and they will not calculate any taxes. I also have rates that include some of the other add-ons that states are coming up with so I set those up with no cycles as well. It has no adverse effects.

Hi,
Does anyone know what the error messages on the PR292 (Lawson) error report mean when it says "No record created. Negative data exists for employee" and "Record created - Emp hours greater than 999" ?
