State Reporting for 1099

Hi all,

I'm in a state that requires state reporting of withholding (boxes 16, 17 and 18), which Lawson core does not support. We will likely need to file electronically this year, as well as mail the printed forms.

I was told that we could possibly create a mashup to pull AP20 or AP45 in with an external data source, giving users a form to actually store the state withholding details (as opposed to the spreadsheet they now keep). I was also told that we could use SmartReports to create the printed forms. As for creating the electronic file, we could just manipulate the output of AP146.

Has anyone created a mashup to be used with an external data source? If so, can you offer any tips or suggestions on going about it? We would likely be creating the tables outside of the core LSF database, so I'm also wondering about security ties with LSF Security.

By the way, we're running LSF10.0.5 with LSO 10.1.2
