4. What Happened to the Old Community, Content, and Groups?
Our previous platform was missing a lot of features that would help our users connect, and the technology was no longer supported.
Today we are launching on the Vanilla/Higher Logic platform.
**Only ACTIVE Product & User Groups from the last 6-12 months were migrated.
These were categorized into 2 buckets: Product Groups & User Groups
Only 38 User Groups & Product Forums came from our old platform, the rest of the active groups and forums were specific to additional small groups, events, and past products or features.
Old Product Groups are now found under Migrated Forums in the Navigations these groups are now marked READ-ONLY as we will add categories around these products soon.
It's best to use a Category for these groups as more customers will be able to access and participate in the discussions.
User Groups are now found under Your Groups in Navigation
These are the few groups we will continue to run under the Groups feature.
