Birst User Security by Dashboard

We have deployed several dashboards for HCM and use the standard GHRBirst roles to control access. Specifically we use the GHRBirst-HRGeneralist which allows access to all employees and the GHRBIRST-DirectSupervisor which allows access only to that specific Supervisor's hierarchy.

We do have 1 dashboard where we would like any Supervisor to see all employee data while at the same time ensure they only see their hierarchy for all other dashboards.

If we give the Supervisors the GHRBirst-HRGeneralist role this solves the problem for this 1 dashboard exception but then causes issues for all other dashboards as they can now see all employee data.

Is it possible to assign different Birst security roles to the same user but for different dashboards? So they could have HRGeneralist for 1 dashboard but then only DirectSupervisor for all other dashboards?

Please review Data Driven Dashboards. There are two main levels of security: object and data level. The data level is driven by Security Filters. The object level is driven by assigning access through the Report Catalog or by designing conditions within a dashboard to display or not display corresponding dashlets (Data Driven).

Yes, a user can have multiple roles.
