Lawson upgrade compliance

My understanding is that there will be an S3 app release in Nov of this year. That would be 9.0.1.10? There is also a 9.0.1.12 Env version available. We are on 9.0.1.8 apps / 9.0.1.10 Env. The Product Lifecycle Schedule leads us to believe support will be given for both our Apps + Env versions through 5/31/2016. Does Infor/Lawson still have a deadline for upgrading 9X versions once you are 2 versions behind? - Thanks

I think that is for env versions and would be enforced if you have an issue and call for help.

I could be wrong, though.

Lots of questions - let me see if I can help.

For 901, we have gone to annual service packs now. So, for the applications, 9.0.1 MSP9 was released in November 2012. There was no MSP released in May 2013, so MSP10 is targeted for November 2013.

For the environment, we released 9.0.1 ESP12 in May 2013. We do not plan an ESP in November 2013, so the next targeted one is ESP13 in May 2014.

Yes, 901 Env & Apps are supported currently through 5/31/2016.

The only requirement for support and staying current has ever been on the environment, not on the applications. So with regard to ESPs, we support the current minus 2. So with ESP12 out now, we support ESP12, ESP11, and ESP10. If you are on a previous ESP, and you log an issue, Support will try and duplicate on the current ESP. If they can, they will write up a JT, but the patch will only be made available on those supported ESPs. If they cannot duplicate, they will recommend you update and then retest your issue and reopen the case if needed.
