How can I add a custom OData REST API to an ION Connection Point?

I have created a custom LN OData REST API via the OData REST API Modeler. I commited, validated and activated the API and it appears inside of the API Gateway as a LN-API. I now want to use it inside of an ION API Connection Point because I want to access the API from a Document Flow but the API does not show up when picking the ION API Operation while all of the standard LN APIs do. How can I add my custom LN OData REST API to a Connection Point/Document Flow?

You may need refresh the API Metadata. In the API Gateway, go to API Metadata in the menu and click on the Refresh metadata icon near the top:

The process takes a few minutes. After that your API should appear in the selection. You can also verify your API appears using the Metadata APIs listed on the page.
