INFOR ISS Federation
Legacy Contributor
We are in the process of testing out version 10 and also sitting up our production Version10 with the help of consultants. We have ran into a show stopper with ISS and the Federation information is missing, When we go into ISS and select resource we get blank screen. Has anyone else had issues with ISS and Federation for version10. This is show stopper for us and consultant is working with INFOR support but nothing has been resolved from INFOR support yet. Any ideas on what may be causing issues. Trying to find out if anyone else ran into issue like this

I am not sure if this is the same, but we had a problem with ISS not displaying resource information after I had applied a patch in LSF related to a problem with executing a list based sync from Process Automation. They found there was a problem with ISS and issued an updated DSP to resolve it. Unfortunately for us we are not on the correct version of Landmark. Our LSF environment is 10.0.6 and our Landmark version is 10.1.1.23. I believe Landmark has to be at 10.1.1.25 or higher for the updated DSP to work correctly.

Are you saying that you don't see any user information in ISS under Resources? I've run into something similar to that before. Not that we couldn't see any resources but that we could only see a partial list. If I remember right, there's a way to rebuild that search index in ssoconfig.

When this happens, I usually look at the log(s):
Start with on (LSF server) $LAWDIR/system/security_search.log
If you see something like:
org.apache.lucene.store.LockObtainFailedException: Lock obtain timed out: NativeFSLock@/lawenv/law/system/search/index/resource/default/index_1/write.lock
Then look at write.lock. I bet it is older than the last time you restarted LSF. I delete that file and am able to get results again.
Don't know if that's the right way, but worked for me.
