windows 7 64 bit installs.

Has anyone done an install of 653 on a windows 7 64bit computer. I am running SQLBase 901 on a windows 2003 standard server. Can I install directly or do I need to install XPM. What to look for and possible OR am I the first and need to just try and let everyone know what happens.

Hi Joel,
When we upgraded a workstation from Windows XP to Windows 7, we lost email capability on the VISUAL 6.5.2 SP2 install on this workstation. After sending in a service request, we received the information below indicating that only version 6.5.4 SP1 of VISUAL is supported on Windows 7. If you get all of your functionality working, please let me know.

Fix Important Note !!! As of 03.10.2010 Windows 7 is certified for use with Visual 6.5.4 SP1 (only). Prior versions of Visual will NOT be certified for use with Windows 7.

You can check what products are certified by viewing the Product Platform Certification List on the Infor365 website at www.infor365.com. After logging in, go to Downloads, Infor ERP VE (Visual Enterprise), then choose Infor ERP VE (Visual Enterprise) - Product Documentation and Downloads. The Platform Certification List will be available on the upper right of your screen.
