Is there a way to document all used screens/forms in Lawson? Wanted for test plan creation.

I currently can run a query on the GEN database which will show me all Lawson Reports which have been run/used for a given time period pulling from the GEN.USERRPT table. I want to know if there is a way to find this information for Lawson screens/forms? We are getting ready to upgrade to V10 and to help create test plans I thought it would be useful to start with only the screens people actually use (we only use a limited number of functions in Lawson).

[This is just my opinion and my information may be dated.] It depends on what type of interface users log in with. If you are using laua security and users come in through LID, there is no log at all. That's for screens that do not run in the Job Scheduler, usually numbered 199 and below. You can see what's currently active and what's being buffered with the command 'tmmon' [Windows OS].
I believe that using Portal logins does give you a measure of logging for every screen called. It may be necessary to sort through extensive logs that are essentially java output. I haven't needed to do it in a long time since Portal is not used much here. I am fairly certain that GEN doesn't track that information; I believe that you'll find it tracked by the J2EE container processes that the user calls the screens with in Portal.

If you are using LID you could do a script to run periodically that does a ps to capture the processes. For Portal depending on your ios log settings, if you set them to info for a period of time that will capture the forms. It will look something like this [processing transaction: PROD90/PO20.1].

Hi all -
We provide this functionality out of the box now. Check out this blog article:

Is the functionality you mention in the blog only available in V10?

Hans,
I assume this is no charge - is that correct?
