Moving from weekly to biweekly payroll

I have been asked what it would take to move from a weekly to biweekly payroll. I don't see anything I would need to set-up differently on my benefit plans. I believe Payroll would need to set-up a new pay plan. If anyone has experience making the transition from a weekly to biweekly payroll, I would appreciate any feedback and advise you can offer!

If you use Employee Self-Service for benefits enrollment, you'll want to make sure your cycles.htm file is updated with correct dates for your biweekly pay cycles. Also check your benefit deduction code setups to make sure benefit deductions are coming out of the appropriate cycles (for example, we don't take benefit deductions on the 3rd paycheck of a month which happens twice a year.)
