Non required certifications in Lawson for Kronos
unknown
Currently we use PA08 to manage all required qualifications for the position code and PA22 to track the employee's qualifications. We will start adding non-required certifications to an employee's PA22 for the purpose of an interface with Kronos scheduling. Managers will use Kronos scheduling to view whether an employee has the necessary qualifications to be able to be pulled to their unit. We want the non-required certifications to be viewed in ESS and MSS. Since they are not on the PA08 the certifications can't be seen. Has anyone been able to view non-required certifications in ESS and MSS.

Yes. You just have to mark the code as web viewable unless you also want them to be able to add, then you mark it accordingly.

I do have them marked web available but unless they are tied to the position code on PA08 they don't appear in ESS or MSS.

It may be a security issue since the certifications attached to an employee by position is stored in the JOBRELATE table and the certifications attached to the employee is stored in the EMPCODES table.
