Home country code on HR11 Address page
anna-kotala
When we click the drop down list for the Country in the Home address and the Supplemental adress section, we get the message "No Records to Select From". We're only allowed to use "US" as the country even if the employee's home is in a foreign country. Where is the Country table set up?

Country Codes (IN01.1)
unknown
I am glad you asked this question, I have had it on my list to ask as well. We used to be able right click and define on the Country Code field on the HR11 and it would take us to the IN01.1 form to add/change countries we had listed. It appears that we are no longer able to define on this field and I can't directly transfer to the IN01.1 form either. It appears it no longer exists. I am not sure what happened or how we can manage this now.

If your organization is using Lawson Security and you don't have Add rights to IN01.1, you won't see a Define option on a right click.

We are using Lawson Security and we have had access to that form before. We haven't had any changes to our setup so I am not sure why it wouldn't work now. Also, I should say that the error message I am getting is not a security error, it is actually saying that the form does not exist.

That is the error message you get when they've removed your permission to the form all together. Security errors are when you have permission to the form but don't have permission for Add rights.
If you aren't the Security Admin for your group, I'd follow up with them to make sure they haven't made any changes recently.

I am in Lawson Security Administrator right now and I can't even find IN01 to manage access to it. Like I said, we have had access to this form before and my team has not made any changes to security recently. I will probably just have to start a case.

IN01 is under the TX system code - just passing that along...

Thank you Gary-I appreciate it!

Thanks for all your replies. I can't find the TX system by going into: laua > Define a user > A. Security Class > Define the data area > A. Applications. The sytems I see are AP, BN, CB, GL, HR, IF, LA, PA, PR, TA, TM, and UG. We're on app version 8.1 using LID on the iSeries.
Alternatively, I suppose I could look up the tables that IN01 updates and insert the countries via SQL...

Here's an update: In a test environment, I turned off lawson security and was able to access IN01 and verified that there were multiple countries listed. I went back into HR11 and clicked on the drop down arrow next to the Home address Country, and still got the "No Records to Select From" error message.

Please see attached screen shots. Thank you.

You or whomever is in charge of Lawson security will probably need to open a ticket and have them help go over the permissions being allowed for your role.
Everything you and nmaiga are saying is indictative of missing permissions on IN01.1 and/or the tables behind it.

I was able to find IN01 under the TX system code and grant permissions to it in Lawson Security Administrator. Thanks.
