Multiple AP Companies Single HR/PR Company
Our set up is that we have 2 AP companies, 1 is for profit and 1 is not for profit. The administrator company for our 401k (for profit) and our 403b (not of profit) is set up in both AP companies with different vendor #'s.
The PR05 does not allow you to select which AP company to use, it's only on the Override/Additional Vendors page (PR05.3) which we have set up and the AP company gets defined by the Process Level, which for the For Profit Process Level is set to be Independent.
We have encountered an issue where we have an employee who works in 2 different process levels benefit deduction for overtime (and only overtime that we can tell) is trying to post to the incorrect company (It trys to pay the Plan Administrator of the wrong company in AP when it comes over on the AP520)
The benefit is Emp Matching on a 401k that gets paid to the administrator company of the plan via AP and the AP520 from PR.
Is there a set up piece we are missing?
