Multiple Supervisors
We are trying to solve for an issue where we have an unusual reporting structure in a portion of our organization.
Many of our researchers report to a Principal Investigator/Physician for their daily tasks. However, these PIs are not the people who handle keying administrative tasks in our Manager Self Service.
We currently have set up our direct supervisor hierarchy incorrectly for this population to accommodate this need. We have the employee reporting to the PI, then the PI incorrectly reporting to an Administrative person in the system, so the Administrative person can drill down in MSS and enter transactions for the researcher.
How do other organizations handle a situation where the manager on record isn't the person keying in transactions. MSS still doesn't have the functionality to leverage indirect supervisor, correct?
