Cash code subaccount

I am trying to find a way to use one Cash Code for more than one type of expense. I looked into creating subaccounts but only one subaccount is allowed per Cash Code. I also looked into having more than one Cash Code tied to only one bank accoount and again this cannot be done. Does anyone have any ideas as to how multiple expenditures could be tracked by using only one Cash Code? We are trying to avoid opening more bank accounts.
